WalletWallet is a small web utility that turns the barcode on a physical card into a digital pass for Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. Gym memberships, library cards, loyalty cards and event QR codes often come without an Add to Wallet button, and Apple gives you no built-in way to make your own passes. WalletWallet fills that gap for anyone tired of digging through screenshots at the checkout. It is refreshingly simple and private. You scan the code with your camera, upload a photo or type the data in, choose a title, color and optional logo, and download the pass. The barcode is processed locally in your browser, and there is no sign-up and nothing to install. WalletWallet is built by independent developer Alen Todorov, and its site reports more than 125,000 passes created. It has added Tags, which turn social handles such as GitHub, Instagram or Spotify into passes you can show with a tap, and Locations, which make a pass appear on the Lock Screen when you are near a place. Highlights: • Scan a barcode with the camera, upload an image or enter the data manually • Supports QR codes and common formats such as Code 128 • Custom pass title, color, logo, label and value • Optional expiry after 30, 90 or 365 days to keep Wallet tidy • Location triggers that surface the pass on the Lock Screen • Tags for social profiles, from Spotify to LinkedIn • Works for both Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, in English, German and Spanish The WalletWallet web tool is completely free. Businesses that want to issue and update passes programmatically can use the separate WalletWallet API at walletwallet.dev, which is free for up to 1,000 passes a month and costs US$39 a month on Pro. It runs in any modern browser, and the passes work on iPhone and Android.
